We finally said the quiet part on a page of its own: SiteDictation is enterprise language learning software. There is now a page for schools.
I built enterprise software for an enterprise of one — tens of thousands of graded listening repetitions, every one recorded, because that's what reaching C1 actually took. It turns out the thing one obsessive learner needed is the thing a language school runs out of every week: prepared listening material, and proof the students did the work.
So the new page describes the product in the school's own vocabulary: a language lab whose library never runs out — and is human all the way down: tens of thousands of real recorded voices, no TTS output anywhere in gameplay ("infinite" means many speakers, not a generator) — grading no teacher has to mark, spaced repetition that schedules itself, and a ledger that turns "did you do your listening homework?" from a claim into a number. Listening is the spine of all language learning; it is also the skill classrooms are worst equipped to drill. That gap is the product.
The honest caveat travels with it, as always: this is a volume instrument, not a curriculum — the truck, not the storefront. And yes, it still works for an individual who treats himself like a school. That's how it was built.
